Advertising On Facebook
If you’re running a raffle site and want to advertise on Facebook, you need to follow Meta’s real-money gambling policies. Facebook has strict rules, and you must get approval before running any ads.
What You Need to Advertise

Have Clear Terms & Conditions on Your Site.
You Must Clearly Explain How the Competition Works On Your Site.
If you offer free entry, it must be clearly displayed on your site.
We strongly recommend contacting David at Gridlaw for expert legal assistance.
He can help you draft solid Terms & Conditions to ensure your raffle site is fully compliant.
He can also provide the Real Money Gaming (RMG) letter that Facebook requires for advertising approval.

Facebook Tracking
Navigate to the marketing section in your settings.

Before you begin, you’ll need your Facebook Pixel ID. To find it, go to business.facebook.com and open your Meta Business Manager. From the left-hand menu, select Events Manager, then choose the Pixel you want to use. Click the Settings tab at the top of the page and you’ll see your Pixel ID listed near the top. Copy this ID and keep it ready to add to your website below.

Facebook Conversion API Token (cAPI)
To generate your Facebook CAPI token, go to business.facebook.com and open your Meta Business Manager. In the left menu, select Events Manager and choose the Pixel you want to use. Click the Settings tab at the top of the page, then scroll down to the Conversions API section. Click Generate Access Token, and once the token appears, copy it and keep it safe for your website or integration setup.

Once your Pixel ID is added, we’ll handle everything else. sending all the relevant tracking events to Facebook on your behalf so your data is accurate and up to date. If cAPI is added we then send the order details via a server request to facebook also.
