Free Entry

Most UK competition sites offer a free entry method, usually by post. If your competition isn’t skills-based or licensed by the Gambling Commission, you must provide a free way to enter.

How to Set Up Free Entry Terms

1. Go to Settings in the left-hand menu.

2. Scroll to the Advanced tab.

3. Click Edit next to Free Entry Tab Terms.

4. Enter your free entry details and save.

These details will appear in the ‘Free Entry’ tab on your competition pages.

Enabling or Disabling the Free Entry Tab

• Turn the tab on or off in Settings > Enable Postal Entry Tab.

• If you offer free entry, this tab must be enabled.

How to Add a Free Entrant to Your Competition

1. Go to the specific competition page in the admin panel.

2. Look for the blue action button at the top of the page.

3. Click the blue action button to open the dropdown menu.

4. Select "Free Entry" from the dropdown options.

5. Fill in the form.

6. Click "Submit" to process the free entry.

Ensure that the free entrant provides a valid email address. When creating free entry terms, always include a clause that requires a valid email.
