# Free Entry

Most UK competition sites offer a free entry method, usually by post. If your competition isn’t skills-based or licensed by the Gambling Commission, you must provide a free way to enter.

### How to Set Up Free Entry Terms

1. Go to **Settings** in the left-hand menu.
2. Open the **Checkout & Payments** tab.
3. Click **Edit** next to Free Entry Tab Terms.
4. Enter your free entry details and save.

### The Free Entry Tab

The Free Entry tab is shown on your competition pages by default, so customers can always see how to enter for free. If you ever need it switched off, contact Rafflex support, as this is managed for you behind the scenes.

### How to Add a Free Entrant to Your Competition

1. Go to the specific competition page in the admin panel.
2. Click the **Actions** button at the top of the page to open the dropdown menu.
3. Select **Free Entry** from the dropdown options.
4. Fill in the form (the entrant's email, country, and the number of tickets).
5. Submit to process the free entry.

The free entrant must **already have a registered account** on your site, and the email you enter must match that account. If no account exists for that email, the entry cannot be added, so ask postal entrants to register first. The country options are United Kingdom and Ireland.
