Most traffic to raffle sites comes from social media, but it’s still good to make sure your site looks professional in Google searches too.

How to Set Your Page Title and Description

1. Go to Pages in the left-hand menu.

2. Click on the page you want to update (e.g., Homepage, About Page).

3. Go to the SEO settings section on the right hand side.

4. Enter your SEO Page Title (meta title).

5. Enter your SEO Page Description (meta description).

6. Save changes.

The Title is the text that appears in your site’s menu and links to the page. If you enter “About,” the menu will show “About,” and clicking it will take visitors to that page.

Please note that the SEO Description can be a max of 160 characters.

Setting SEO Defaults

You can set a default description for your site under:

• Settings > SEO

This will apply across your site except for competition pages.

You can upload an image in the same section that will show when you share your site link on social media. It’s optional but helps make your site look more professional.

• The competition title will automatically be used as the meta title.

• The competition description will be used as the meta description.
