# Your Dashboard

Your Dashboard is the first page you see when you log in to the admin panel. It gives you a quick snapshot of today's sales, competitions that are about to end, and instant win prizes that still need

***

Every time you log in to the admin panel you land on the **Dashboard**. Think of it as your daily check in. In a few seconds you can see how today is going, which competitions are about to close, and whether any instant winners are waiting to be paid.

You can get back to it at any time by clicking **Dashboard** at the top of the left hand menu.

{% hint style="info" %}
The Dashboard does not update by itself while you have it open. To see the latest figures, refresh the page in your browser (press **F5** on Windows, **Cmd + R** on a Mac, or pull down on a phone).
{% endhint %}

### What You'll Find on the Dashboard

* **Today's stats**: sales, new users, new orders and (if you use them) dropped basket emails.
* **Payout health cards**: only if your site pays customer withdrawals automatically.
* **Today's Sales chart**: today's takings compared with the same day last week.
* **Competitions Ending in the next 5 days**: a list of live competitions that are about to close.
* **Latest Unpaid Instant Wins**: cards for instant win prizes that still need to be paid or sent.

Each of these is explained below.

### Today's Stats

The row of boxes at the top of the page shows how your site is doing **today** (from midnight until now).

| Box                       | What it shows                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Sales** | The money taken today through your payment methods (card and PayPal). Underneath you will see **+ Credit Used**, which is the amount of [site credit](/additional-settings/site-credit-and-wallets.md) customers spent on orders today. Add the two together for today's full order value. |
| **New users** | How many new customer accounts were created today. |
| **New orders** | How many orders were completed today. This count includes free entries as well as paid orders. |
| **Dropped basket emails** | How many dropped basket reminder emails have been sent today. This box only appears when [Dropped Basket Recovery](/marketing/website-tools/dropped-basket-recovery.md) is switched on. |

The **Sales**, **New users** and **New orders** boxes also have a small trend line along the bottom. It shows the figure for each hour so far today, so you can spot your busiest times at a glance.

{% hint style="info" %}
The small trend lines are refreshed roughly every half an hour, so they can lag slightly behind the main number in the box. The main number is always up to date when you load the page.
{% endhint %}

### Payout Health Cards

If your site pays customer withdrawals automatically, you will see three extra boxes just below today's stats:

| Box                | What it shows                                                                      |
| ------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Failed Payouts** | Payouts that have failed. |
| **Stuck Payouts** | Payouts that have been in progress for more than 24 hours, with their total value. |
| **Manual Review** | Withdrawals waiting for you to review them, with their total value. |

Each box turns green when there is nothing to deal with. Click any of them to jump straight to the matching withdrawals. See [Payouts](/additional-settings/payouts.md) for what each one means and what to do next.

### Today's Sales Chart

The **Today's Sales** chart breaks today into half hour slots (00:00, 00:30, 01:00 and so on) and plots the money taken in each one. It shows two lines:

* **Today Revenue** (the solid green line): what you have taken in each half hour today.
* **This Day Last Week** (the dashed blue line): what you took in the same half hour exactly one week ago.

Comparing the two lines is a quick way to see whether today is ahead of or behind a normal week. For example, if you sent a marketing email at 18:00, you can see whether it produced a bigger spike than last week.

Hover over (or tap) any point on the chart to see the exact amount for both days in that half hour.

{% hint style="info" %}
Like the **Sales** box, this chart shows money taken through your payment methods. It does not include site credit spent by customers.
{% endhint %}

### Competitions Ending in the Next 5 Days

This table lists every live competition that is due to end within the next five days, with the soonest first. Competitions are grouped by their end date and time, and each group heading also tells you how long is left (for example "in 2 days").

For each competition you can see:

* **Title**: the competition name. Use the search box above the table to find one quickly.
* **Sold**: how many tickets have been sold so far.
* **Max tickets**: the total number of tickets available.
* **End**: the date and time the competition closes.
* **Active**: a tick to show the competition is switched on.

Each row has two buttons:

* **Edit** opens the competition in the admin panel so you can make changes.
* **View** opens the competition page on your live website, exactly as customers see it.

If nothing is due to end soon, you will see the message **No competitions ending soon**.

{% hint style="info" %}
Only competitions that are switched on and still have tickets left appear here. A competition that has **sold out** drops off this list, even if its draw is still a few days away.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
This is a handy place to check your draws are lined up. If a competition ending tomorrow has sold far fewer tickets than you hoped, you still have time to promote it, or to [change its settings](/create-your-first-raffle/managing-competitions.md) before it closes.
{% endhint %}

### Latest Unpaid Instant Wins

This section shows your most recent instant win prizes that have been won but not yet marked as paid, newest first. It is designed to help you pay winners quickly without leaving the Dashboard.

{% hint style="info" %}
Prizes that are paid automatically as [site credit](/drawing-winners/managing-payouts/instant-win-site-credit-payouts.md) are not shown here, because there is nothing for you to do. Only prizes you need to pay or send yourself appear.
{% endhint %}

Each winner has their own card showing:

* **Ticket**: the winning ticket number.
* **Competition**: which competition the prize was won in.
* **Prize**: what the customer won.
* **Customer Profile**: the winner's full name, phone number and email address.
* **Bank Details**: the sort code and bank account number the customer has saved for payouts (if they have added them).
* **Won At**: the date and time the prize was won.

You can click any of the customer or bank details to copy them, which saves retyping when you set up a bank transfer.

#### Paying a winner

1. Pay or send the prize to the customer in the usual way (for example, by bank transfer).
2. On the Dashboard, find the winner's card under **Latest Unpaid Instant Wins**.
3. Click **Mark paid** on their card.
4. You will see a **Marked as paid** confirmation and the card will disappear from the list.

When you mark a prize as paid, the winner is sent an email to let them know, as long as **Enable Payout Confirmation Email** is switched on. You can find this in the admin panel under **Settings**, then the **Email** tab. It is switched on by default.

Each card also has two more buttons:

* **User** opens the winner's customer account.
* **Order** opens the order that contained the winning ticket.

If there is nothing waiting to be paid, you will see **No Unpaid Instant Wins**.

#### Mark all as paid

At the top of the section there is a **Mark all as paid** button. Clicking it asks you to confirm, and then marks **every** unpaid instant win prize on your site as paid in one go.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Mark all as paid** is not limited to the cards you can see on the screen. It marks every unpaid instant win prize on your whole site (apart from automatic site credit prizes) as paid, including ones on later pages of the list. Each winner is also emailed if the payout confirmation email is switched on. Only use it once you have genuinely paid or sent every prize.
{% endhint %}

For a fuller view of all your instant winners, including filters and bulk actions, use the **Instant Winners** page:

### What Staff Accounts Can See

If you have given a staff member the **Restrict Financials** restriction, they will not see the **Today's Stats** boxes or the **Today's Sales** chart on their Dashboard. They will still see **Competitions Ending in the next 5 days**, **Latest Unpaid Instant Wins** and (if your site has them) the payout health cards, so they can help run the day to day side of your site without seeing your takings.

To find out how to set up staff accounts and restrictions, read [Staff Accounts and Access](/managing-your-site/customers/staff-accounts-and-access.md).
