Slots

A slot machine game with spinning reels that land on a winning combination.

What Is It?

A slot machine-style game with 3 spinning reels. Customers press a button to spin, and the reels land on a winning combination if they hold a winning ticket.

How It Works

  1. After purchasing tickets, the customer sees a slot machine.

  2. They press the Spin button.

  3. The three reels spin and come to a stop one by one.

  4. If the ticket is a winner, the reels land on the matching prize combination.

  5. If not, the reels show a losing combination.

Important:

  • Slots is limited to a maximum of 9 unique instant win prizes.

  • Each of the 9 prizes can have multiple winners. For example, you can offer 100 of each prize, but you cannot have more than 9 unique prize types.

  • The Sort field on each instant win prize determines its position on the reels (1-9).

Customisation Options

Pre-Built Themes

Choose from 9 ready-made themes:

  • Lucky Reels Classic. Classic fruit machine style.

  • Deep Sea Fortune. Underwater theme.

  • Lootin Racoons. Playful racoon theme.

  • Candyland. Sweet candy theme.

  • Mayan Totem. Ancient Mayan theme.

  • Dr Wacko. Mad scientist theme.

  • Aztec Treasure Quest. Aztec adventure theme.

  • Crypto Riches. Cryptocurrency theme.

  • Miner Madness. Mining theme.

Custom Upload

Select Custom Upload as the theme to upload your own assets:

  • Custom Reel Image. Your own reel strip image (500x4800px).

  • Custom Background Image. The background behind the slot machine (2200x1214px).

Creating a Custom Slot Theme

Click here to access the Reels Template. You will use this to create your custom reels. Please note: You will need a free Canva account to use this template.

Upload Your Images to Canva

Click Upload, then Upload Files. Select your 9 prize images and background image. These will be saved to your uploads folder.

Set a Background

You can either upload an image or use a solid colour. Click any white space around the image templates to select the whole design, then right-click your background image and choose Set Image as Background.

Add Your Reel Images

Drag your images into each of the 9 square spaces. Try to centre each image within the square.

The bottom image (last of your 9) will be assigned to Position 1, which is your main prize. Make sure this aligns with your intended top prize.

Download Your Reels

Click Share, then Download. Change the file type to JPG. Leave all other settings as they are and click Download.

Upload to RaffleX

Head back to your competition page. Upload your custom JPG under Slot Reel Image Override. For the background, use the Background Template and upload under Slot Background Image Override. Click Save and you're done.
