# Wallet Credit Usage

See how customers are using their site credit. Review each customer's current balance, credit added during a period, credit spent on orders, and how often they pay with credit.

***

The Wallet Credit Usage report shows you how your customers are using [site credit](/additional-settings/site-credit-and-wallets.md). It is downloaded as a spreadsheet (CSV file) with one row per customer. For each customer you can see how much credit they have right now, how much was added to their wallet during the period you choose, how much they spent on orders, and how often they paid with credit.

Use it to:

* Find customers who are sitting on unspent credit, so you can remind them about upcoming competitions.
* See whether credit you give out (for example from instant wins or cashback) is being spent on your site.
* Check how many of your customers' orders use credit at all.

***

### How to Generate

1. In the **admin panel**, open **Analytics** from the left-hand menu.
2. Click the **Download Reports** button at the top of the page. This opens the **Downloads** page.
3. Click **Generate Report**.
4. Choose **Wallet Credit Usage** from the menu. It sits in the group with Coupon ROI Analysis, Users and the withdrawal reports.
5. Set your **Date Range** and, if you want, a **Minimum Balance (£)** (see below).
6. Click **Submit**.

You will see a **Download Started** message. The report is prepared in the background, and you will receive an email when it is ready. You can also stay on the **Downloads** page and click **Download** next to the report once its status shows as complete. In the list, it appears as **Wallet Credit Usage Report**.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Can't see the Download Reports button?** Contact Rafflex support and we will help you get access. If you are a staff member and cannot see **Analytics** in the menu at all, your account probably has the **Restrict Financials** restriction, which blocks Analytics and all downloads. The site owner can change this, as explained in [Staff Accounts and Access](/managing-your-site/customers/staff-accounts-and-access.md).
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
You can have up to 3 reports being prepared at once. If you see **Report Limit Reached**, wait for one to finish before starting another.
{% endhint %}

### Filters

#### Date Range

Choose one of the ready made ranges: **Last 1 Day**, **Last 3 Days**, **Last 5 Days**, **Last 7 Days**, **Last 14 Days**, **Last 30 Days** (the default) or **Last 60 Days**.

To pick your own dates, choose **Custom**. Two date boxes appear, **From Date** and **To Date**. A custom range can cover up to 3 months. For a longer period, run the report more than once and combine the files.

The date range controls the **activity** columns: credit added to wallets and orders placed. It does not change the **Current Balance** column, which is always the customer's balance at the moment the report is created.

#### Minimum Balance (£)

Only customers whose **current** balance is at least this amount are included. It starts at **0**, which includes every customer who has a site credit wallet, even if their balance is empty.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Finding customers with unspent credit.** Set **Minimum Balance (£)** to something like **5** or **10**. The report then lists only customers holding at least that much credit, with the biggest balances at the top. This makes a handy list for a "you have credit waiting" email.
{% endhint %}

### What's Included

Each row represents one customer. Customers with the highest current balance are at the top. Only customers who have a site credit wallet appear, so customers who have never had any credit are usually left out.

| Column                           | What it shows                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   |

| **Email**                        | The customer's account email address.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           |
| **Current Balance (£)** | How much site credit the customer has right now. This is not affected by the date range. |
| **Deposits in Period (£)** | The total credit added to the customer's wallet **within your date range**. This counts every deposit, such as instant win prizes, cashback, refunds to site credit, wallet top ups, credit you added by hand, and money returned to the wallet when you rejected a withdrawal. |
| **Total Credit Used (£)** | The total site credit spent on completed orders placed within your date range. |
| **Orders Using Credit** | How many completed orders in the date range used at least some credit. |
| **Total Orders** | How many completed orders the customer placed in the date range, however they paid. |
| **Credit Usage Rate (%)** | The share of the customer's orders in the date range that used credit. For example, 2 orders using credit out of 4 orders in total is **50.00%**. |
| **Average Credit Per Order (£)** | The average amount of credit spent, counting only the orders that used credit. |

{% hint style="info" %}
**Only completed orders are counted.** Orders that were never paid for, or that were cancelled, are left out of the order and credit columns.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Amounts are labelled with a £ sign.** If your site uses another currency, the figures are still in your own currency. Only the symbol in the file is different.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Extra columns at the end of the file?** You may see a couple of additional columns after **Average Credit Per Order (£)**. They are not used on most sites and normally show **£0.00**, so you can ignore them.
{% endhint %}

### Reading the Report

* **High Current Balance, low Total Credit Used.** The customer has credit but is not spending it. A friendly reminder or a new competition launch may bring them back.
* **High Deposits in Period, low Credit Usage Rate.** Credit is being added (for example from instant wins) but the customer is still mostly paying by card. They may not realise the credit is there.
* **Customers with 0 Total Orders.** These customers have credit in their wallet but placed no completed orders in your date range. Try a longer range to see whether they have been away for a while.
