# Users Export

Export a list of registered customers with their contact details, address, order count, spend, and site credit balance. Filter by registration date and email verification status.

***

The Users export gives you a record of the customers who registered on your site during a period you choose. Each row is one customer account and includes their account details, contact information, address, how many orders they have placed, how much they have spent, and their current [site credit balance](/additional-settings/site-credit-and-wallets.md).

Use it to keep your own customer records, check who signed up during a promotion, or reconcile spend and wallet balances.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**This export does not tell you who agreed to receive marketing.** It lists every registered customer in the date range, including people who never ticked the marketing box or who have since unsubscribed. Only send marketing to customers who opted in. See [Marketing Consent and Unsubscribes](/marketing/sms-and-email/marketing-consent-and-unsubscribes.md) for how consent works on your site.
{% endhint %}

### How to Generate the Users Export

1. Log in to your admin panel.
2. Click **Analytics** in the left-hand menu.
3. At the top of the Analytics page, click **Download Reports**. This opens the Downloads page.
4. Click **Generate Report**.
5. Choose **Users** from the list.
6. Pick your **Date Range** and **User Status** (both explained below).
7. Click **Submit**.

You will see a **Download Started** message. The report is built in the background, and you will receive an email when it is ready. You can also stay on the Downloads page and watch the **Status** column. When it shows complete, click **Download** on that row to save the CSV file.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Cannot see Download Reports?** If the button is missing from your Analytics page, contact Rafflex support. If you are a staff member and cannot see **Analytics** at all, your account may have the **Restrict Financials** restriction. See [Staff Accounts and Access](/managing-your-site/customers/staff-accounts-and-access.md).

### Filters

#### Date Range

This filters customers by the date they **registered**, not by when they last bought something.

* Choose a quick option: **Last 1 Day**, **Last 3 Days**, **Last 5 Days**, **Last 7 Days**, **Last 14 Days**, **Last 30 Days** (the default), or **Last 60 Days**.
* Or choose **Custom** to pick your own dates. Two extra fields appear, **Registered From** and **Registered To**.

{% hint style="info" %}
A custom range can cover up to 3 months. To export customers over a longer period, run the report several times (for example one report per quarter) and combine the files in your spreadsheet program.
{% endhint %}

#### User Status

* **All Users** (the default): everyone who registered in the date range.
* **Active Only**: only customers whose email address is marked as verified.
* **Inactive Only**: only customers whose email address is not marked as verified.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Customers on your site are not asked to verify their email address when they register, so most accounts show as not verified. If you choose **Active Only**, the file may contain very few rows or none at all. In most cases, choose **All Users**.
{% endhint %}

### What's Included

Each row is one customer account. The newest registrations appear first. The columns are:

| **Card Spent** | Money paid through your payment gateway on completed orders. |
| **Credit Spent** | Site credit used on completed orders. |
| **Wallet Balance** | The site credit the customer still has left to spend. |
| **Profile First Name**, **Profile Last Name**, **Profile Email** | The contact details saved on the customer's profile, usually filled in from their checkout details. These can differ from the account name and login email. |
| **Phone** | The phone number saved on their profile. |
| **Street**, **Town**, **County**, **Country**, **Postcode** | The address saved on their profile. Country is shown as a two letter code, for example GB. |

The file may also contain an extra column that does not apply to your site. You can safely ignore it.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Card Spent** is the amount paid through the card payment gateway (this includes PayPal and the card portion of a partial payment). **Credit Spent** is the amount paid using [site credit](/additional-settings/site-credit-and-wallets.md) from the customer's wallet. Together they make up **Total Spent**, and all three count completed orders only. They are separate from **Wallet Balance**, which is the credit the customer still has left to spend.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Why Total Orders and the spend columns do not always match.** Total Orders counts every order on the account, including orders that were never completed (for example a payment that failed or a checkout the customer abandoned). The spend columns only count completed orders.
{% endhint %}

### Need a Quick List Instead?

If you only need a simple contact list, you do not have to wait for a background report. In the admin panel, click **Users** under **Management** in the left-hand menu, then click **Export user data** at the top of the list. You choose a **From** and **To** registration date and the CSV downloads straight away. It includes each customer's email, phone, name, address, the date they joined, and their site credit balance.

The quick export does not include order counts or spend, and like this report, it does not include marketing consent.
