Set Up Your Homepage

Your homepage is built with a drag-and-drop editor, so you can add, remove and arrange content however you like.

1. How to Make Changes

  • In the admin panel, click Pages (left-hand menu).

  • Select Home to open the editor for the homepage.

  • Drag and drop blocks to customise your layout.

  • Save changes, then check your live site to review updates.

2. Available Blocks and What They Do

How to Set Up Your Homepage

Essential Blocks

  • Sliders – A rotating banner that can either automatically pull in and display important competitions or use your own custom image. (We recommend keeping this at the top for maximum visibility.)

Not sure why a competition is or is not appearing in your slider, or how to set the running order? See How the Sliders Block Chooses Competitions.

Product & Sales Blocks

  • Product Grid – Displays competitions in a list format making it easy for users to scroll and browse through your competitions.

  • Product Horizontal Grid – A side-scrolling competition display that lets users swipe through competitions (uses 600x800 portrait images).

Created a competition but it is not showing up in these blocks? See why a competition is not on my homepage for the four things to check.

Engagement and Social Blocks

  • Winners Display – Show past winners to build trust.

  • Newsletter – A fixed block that collects email sign-ups (not editable).

  • Social Links – Add social media icons or buttons.

  • Video – Add a YouTube video to showcase your competitions.

Stats and Countdown Blocks

  • Stats – Displays two custom stats (e.g., total winners, total payouts) and a countdown to the next competition.

    • Want to know how the two stats and the countdown actually behave? See Stats Block Countdown Explained. The two big numbers are text you type yourself, while the countdown automatically targets your soonest ending live, publicly listed competition.

  • Instant Winners Counter – Displays a total count of each day's instant winners (resets at midnight).

  • Mobile Stats – Compact version of stats for mobile users.

Other Blocks

  • Big Picture Content – A large image with text and a button, ideal for introducing your brand or highlighting a key message.

  • Call to Action – A section with a title, text, and button designed to drive entries, sign-ups, or any key action.

  • Gallery – A simple image gallery block.

Custom and Advanced Blocks

  • Adv Code – Add custom HTML for advanced customisations.

  • WYSIWYG – A flexible text editor for adding custom content.

  • Custom Twig Block – Build your own block using Twig with the available competition and site variables. See Twig Templating.
