Order & Cart Settings

Site-wide controls for how many tickets a customer can buy in one order and whether they can have more than one order in progress at a time.

These settings apply across your whole site and help you keep orders sensible and fair. You will find them in Settings, under the Checkout & Payments tab, in the Order & Cart Settings section.

Max Tickets Per Order

This sets the largest number of tickets a customer can buy in a single order, across everything in their basket. The default is 1000, and you can set it anywhere from 1 to 10,000.

Limit to Single Pending Order

When this is on, a customer cannot start a new order while they already have one in progress that has not been paid for. This helps stop a single customer from tying up large numbers of tickets in several unpaid orders at once. To understand how unpaid orders hold tickets until they clear, see Pending Tickets.

How to Update These Settings

  1. In the admin panel, click Settings in the left-hand menu.

  2. Open the Checkout & Payments tab.

  3. Find the Order & Cart Settings section.

  4. Adjust Max Tickets Per Order or toggle Limit to Single Pending Order.

  5. Click Save.
